LONDON – Momentum has created a unique music platform for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) with an exclusive event titled FTBC on the QT to be held on the 11th November at Proud Galleries. The intimate gig is being held to increase brand awareness and thank loyal supporters who have helped to raise £10.5 million for Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s ground-breaking research, campaigning and education work.

FTBC was established in 1990 by Ralph Lauren after his friend and fashion editor of the Washington Post, Nina Hyde died of breast cancer. The campaign was launched in the UK in 1996 by Breakthrough Breast Cancer, and now celebrates its 13th year.

FTBC on the QT will be proudly presented by Pearl Lowe and will feature exclusive performances from Sophie Ellis-Bextor and hot new group The Cheek, as well as exclusive DJ sets from the oh so fashionable Ben Grimes and Razorlight band members John ‘Skully’ Sullivan-Kaplan and Carl Dalemo. Exclusively for FTBC on the QT, Sophie Ellis-Bextor will give the audience a sneak preview of a few songs from her new album, which is due to be released early next year. The Cheek, hotly tipped to be the next big quintessentially English art school pop band are performing their debut single "Hung Up" which is being released on the 9th November through A&M Records. Celebrity supporters of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer are expected to attend along with a host of fashionistas, friends and recent supporters of FTBC.

Momentum have created the event, developing the concepts and visual identity whilst working with Slam PR to source talent, partners and sponsors for the event. Along with developing the bespoke informative website, www.ftbcontheqt.com Momentum have also created all branding materials for the evening. On the night Momentum will be running the stage, backstage and VIP lounge.

Grazia, Britain’s first weekly glossy magazine will be covering the event on its party pages and is the official media partner of FTBC on the QT. Ticketmaster is supporting the event and a selection of tickets will be available to the public.

Simon White, Managing Partner of Momentum said “It’s been fantastic working with FTBC to develop a platform that inspires conversation and generates media interest. Giving back is one of our agency’s core objectives and for us to help raise awareness and do what we do best has been extremely fulfilling. We’ve honed in on our entertainment and event experience to produce an intimate and exclusive event at Proud Camden.”

Natalie Legg, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Manager added, “FTBC on the QT is our way of saying a huge thank you to all our supporters old and new for helping us to continue to fight breast cancer.
